i think you will like it. you can hear the track on youtube. the song is a bit controversial because it was only released on on a cd single(or something like that). and not on her album. many people bought the album just for this particular track. i am not a huge fan of alicia keys but this track is super deep and atmospheric. it's the best song that she has ever done in my opinion. honestly, if i had not been told it was her, i would not have even known. it has a similar vibe to little dragon's "twice".
you should do an edit and send it to her. you never know. she may like it and respond via voicemail. then you can release the edit with the voicemail intro like theo parrish's edit of Jill Scott's "slowly surely" hey, you never know :)
