Classic Italo disco record that is certainly a gay classic. I love gay classics. LOL. The cover is all cheesey beefcake. Kind of reminds me of the Al Pachino movie Cruisin'.

I give the Mary Wilson album about a 3.5. Its not the best of Motown disco around but its fun. Not to mention I have this sudden interest in all things Ex-Supremes. In all honesty this is not a bad album its just that the grooves are a little big mass market and don't really go too deep. That being said its nothing to cringe about. I'm sure you all will think it worth your time to listen. I'm sharing it because like me I'm sure a lot of you probably were unaware of the existence of this album. I'd prefer this had been recorded with a few less screeches otherwise its cool.

Meco - Other Galactic Funk

Side B is a funky cut I had never heard before I bought this record. Everyone should hear this one. Just right click the pic to download

Loleatta Holloway - Crash Goes Love 1984

I only included the The title track mixes and not the ballad "Sweet Thing" that is a remake of Chaka Khan. This is classic Hi-NRG in the same vein as Shannon's "Let the Music Play" from around the same time. You can hear in one of Loleatta's runs. Her vocalizations are almost identical. As always, Click the Pic.
Please check out the Flag ship. I built a site designed to get deep groove listeners all in one place. Sign up today.

Ultimate II LP 1980

This is some pretty fluffy disco I bought for the cover art. I love the cover 100% the music itself took some time to grow on me. When I first listened to it I was like this is a throw away. Then on a second and third play I noticed I kind of liked it for its light heartedness which is what I like a lot of music from the 70s and 80s for. Music back then didn't have to have all the weight (translate: dark and moody) that much of today's underground music has to have in order to be considered true and deep. The stand out track is "Secret Agent Man". As always to check it out, click the pic

This is a rare one my good friend sent me for my birthday. Check it out. Its great. I chose not to include the ballads however. Wasn't thrilled with those.
