Savoir-Flair - Savoir-Flair 2007 CD Reissue
I bought this about a year ago. Its so worth it. Only thing is the music caputred here seems like it should have been released in 1978 and not 1983. Its really good. So please enjoy. I'd describe it as a cross between P-funk and Patrick Adams.
1 Come On 4:10
2 You Can Touch The Sky 2:54
3 Happy Hour 3:29
4 Super Funk 3:18
5 Keep Holding On 3:46
6 The Family Jewels 3:14
7 Here I Come 4:49
8 Savoir-Funk 6:29
9 You're The Best 4:04

High Inergy - So Right
This has got to be one of the best Motown records I've ever heard. Almost every cut is a super duper boogie deluxe trip. The title song and an Al Green remake suck but everything else is platinum.
Journey To Love 3:49
Don't Cha Love It 3:49
Wrong Man, Right Touch 4:05
Wanna Be Your Lady 4:00
First Impressions 3:46
Show Me How 4:01
Take A Chance 3:16
Match Point 3:58 This one is my favorite.

Shiva - :20 Minute Workout
Ok finally I have a USB Audio Interface for my USB Turntable. Kind of oxymoronic don't you think, sound redundant? It is. Don't ever buy a USB turntable you'll just have to buy an interface for the rca cables to get rid of the terrible hiss.
Ok now that I have vented, here's the story. I bought this record a while back and fell in love with it. Its a rare find and I got a great deal. Problem is it was released by Ronco and shitty super thin vinyl and the recording is really bad and low quality. So on my USB turntable, forget it, I wasn't getting a decent rip. Now I have the USB Audio interface and it took care of a lot of noise. Still kind of a shitty sound but I tried to clean it up as best I could with what I have. Its ripped at 320 kbps so its pretty decent, still not the best.
For the purpose of pure musical enjoyment I present :Shiva - :20 Minute Workout. It is an odd sorce of some pretty groovy Italo-Disco style grooves since it is the soundtrack to an Aerobics work out show from the early 80s. Its pretty kitchy but super good. All the tracks are too short but that's ok there's a lot of funk packed in the tiny segments.

Nu Soul Explosion
These are 2 of my favorite all time Nu Soul/Neo Soul releases and one that is actually new to me but will go down as a must listen as well.
Ms. Erykah Badu's 2007/8 album release, "New Amerykah" is sure to go down in the history books as one the best records/cds of all time. This is Nu Funk Soul to the 10th power. I bought both the cd and lp on vinyl but sold the cd. The vinyl will never leave my collection as long as I can help it. Though I ripped the cd long time ago before I sold it at 160 kbps. So even though its good sound quality I apologize to anyone who is a 320 junkie.

Bilal's Love For Sale irronically never was for sale. It was scheduled to be released in '03, a few years after his first album which came out in the 2001, entitled "1st Born Second." The first album was stellar but the second one in my opinion is even better. However, Universal desided to pull it from commercial distribution before it was ever released on the market because it was leaked on the internet and spread like wildfire that way. Its sad because it for sure deserves an official release. For anyone interested, there is no official artwork for this release. The album artwork accompanied was what I thought was the best of 3 that were created by fans on the net.

Lastly but not leastly we have Georgia Anne Muldrow. She is an incredible songstress, song writer and producer. She's pure magic. I love her futuristic sound. Anyone into progressive soulful sounds will surely enjoy this one. I just bought the cd and received it in the mail just a few days ago. "Worthnothings" is more a mini-album then a full release as 4 of the 7 tracks here are less then 4 minutes. Still every second of sound is worth the listen. Hope everyone lives for this as much as I do.

Came out last year. This is in the vein of their classic sound. I'd say not quite as captivating but still great stuff none the less.

Mike "Agent X" Clark - Deep Reflections
One deep excursion though Detroit House and Beatdown sounds. I swear I must be the only person in the world who owns this cd. Its very possible my blog may be the only place besides my soulseek to get these tracks in this collection. I know I am the only one on Discogs who has this. So as a treat I'm sharing this gem with ya'll. Eat it up. :D
NOTE: The last track is messed up its not the MP3 but the recording itself.

Best of Midnight Sunrise
A '70s disco act snapped together by Ian Levine in London, England, to record some tracks originally designated for Tony Hatch's protégés Madam; Levine brought in Sheila Hart, famous for dancing at the celebrated northern soul dancehall Blackpool Mecca club, to redo Madam's sub par takes. And persuaded Towards Tomorrow -- Leon Gauf, Damon Black, Don Cowan, and Lamont Thompson -- American G.I.'s who recorded for Movers Records to unite with Hart and christened them Midnight Sunrise. Nothing sold well and they splintered in five different directions. Many, unaware of their history, think Midnight Sunrise was a '90s act because Hot Productions release Best of Midnight Sunrise: On the House in 1995, more than 20 years after their conception. ~ Andrew Hamilton, All Music Guide
Ian Levine touts On The House as the first UK House record ever released.
I have omitted some of the House tracks I thought were too cheesy, but all the Disco tracks are included here. Enjoy.

Just bought this cd the other day. I wish I could find it for a good price on vinyl since currently I'm broke and more the $5 is a stretch. LOL. Any how. I'm sure fans of frivalous disco will enjoy this. Its not the deepest disco but it certainly is fun. It gets me moving.
